Food Service was great! Everyone was quick, polite and courteous. Food came out quickly. The pressed sushi was really flavorful. My favorite was the Ebi Pressed Sushi. Best I've had in a long time. Definitely would come back.

I love sushi here. Some sets have new and fresh taste I haven't experienced anywhere before though I eat sushi pretty often. You don't have to wait to make order and you get your food blazingly fast. Always. I mean it.

Great aburi sushi and hot dishes. Absolutely amazing and quite comparable to the ones we had in Japan. Price is fair. The way dishes got delivered are unique and effective. Good service as well. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Fun place to eat. Food slides on the belt and lands in front of you. Fish was very fresh. Not in my top 3 sushi places but i will still be back since it was still very good sushi.

TORA is quite special as it is a different experience to conventional sushi places that I've been to in Toronto. Initially, I thought the conveyer belt was a gimmick but this place really offers up high quality food for amazing value. It's definitely worth trying if you love Japanese food or if you've never tried torch-pressed sushi considering the quality and value that you get. The service is always great here and the atmosphere and presentation are beautiful - there is really nothing to fault here. Highly recommend!

The new concept with the conveyor belts that stop in front of your table, combined with the tablets for ordering was fun! Plus the sushi offered some new flavours and was tastier than other tablet themed restaurants. It was a bit pricey and was brightly lit. I would recommend this place for lunches. Everyone who waited on us was extremely curtious, friendly and charismatic. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great sushi. The prices are fair and the conveyor belt is fun. Their staff is amazing! They were all super nice and it made my friend and I feel welcome. Will definitely come back again 👌👌👌

Best vegetarian sushi I have ever had! This is by far one of my most favorite restaurants since I've discovered it ❤️. I end up taking everyone I love to this place.

5 star 5 star 5 STAR! had such an enjoyable experience. I ate mostly vegetarian dishes and my friend had more sushi and nigari. Amazing flavours, marinades. Delicious food and even the sake was good. Highly recommended! Staff was friendly and great. Definitely worth it!!!

The torched seared sushi is a must, and their crispy brussel sprouts were our favourite! If you're REALLY hungry though, your bill can easily sky rocket. That being said, it is about quality over quantity here, and its definitely worth a try!

Pricing is high for conveyor belt sushi restaurant, quality is not so much. Rice doesn’t hold together. Some nigiri look old even they are made to order.Go if you haven’t been to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant for the experience. Don’t go if you’ve been to a real sushi restaurant.

This place was amazing. Some of the best sushi I have ever had. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. My son ate well. It was overall the best experience for my birthday.

The restaurant is quite nice and the concept of the conveyor belt sushi is cool, however the food is lacking. Luckily it was just a quick meal after shopping.

This is my first time to eat Sushi in Toronto. Customer service is good and I need to ask for help by using the screen which I can order food too in front of me. This experience is interesting!About the dessert ( the black cheesecake ), I do not like it very much and next time I may try the mango pudding.

Loved our first experience here! Very friendly staff, cool service (conveyer belt and more limited people interaction) and amazing food. Prices are super reasonable and food is so delicious! I’ve never had this style of sushi before and was pleasantly surprised by how rich the flavours are. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!

Modern conveyor belt style sushi restaurant. You order on a tablet and the sushi comes to your table by conveyor belt. It stops at the table that ordered it so there is no confusion on whose food it is. When the restaurant is busy it can take a while for the food to arrive but when its quiet it takes around 2 minutes for a dish which is pretty good. We liked the flame seared sushi, but we felt that the regular sushi was pretty standard, similar to a run of the mill sushi place. Prices are affordable though a little higher than regular sushi restaurants. Servers did a good job of periodically topping up our water. In conclusion we would probably come back just for the flame seared sushi.

Great place to experience the conveyor belt sushi system. Its nicely setup, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food is really good. Its a little pricey but you're in Yorkdale mall so you should have already known. I spent 100 including tip for 2 people and 12 orders without drinks.

Great for dining with young children. They have a row of booths that have "stroller parking". They also don't normally take requests, but I was really grateful that the kitchen was able to accomodate my request to leave the soy sauce off the avocado nigiri so that my 7 month old could eat it!

My favourite sushi in Toronto. It's reasonably priced and the conveyor belt system is a fun novelty. The seaweed they use is somehow softer and tastier than anywhere else I've been. And the brussel sprouts are incredible! I've been here 5 times thanks to a friend who introduced it to me and now I can't stop.

I work as a health inspector, and this was easily one of the cleanest kitchens I've ever seen. So I went back that night for dinner, and the food was absolutely incredible. Try the salmon oshi!

This new restaurant is on the addition to the York dale Mall next to Restoration Hardware and behind the Sporting Life.The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and has a dedicated restaurant.Each table has an IPAD on which you see the entire menu and you place the order online (very easy since there are photos and description of each item.The items arrive to the side of the table on a conveyor belt. The servers bring water, drinks and are happy to describe any item or give a "tutorial" to any 1st time customer.The service is fast and efficient and dishes arrive to the table straight from the kitchen.

Fun experience. Definitely something to try for sure. Service is really good and friendly. Food is super fresh and creative. I really love the Brussel sprouts I really want to know how they prepared and cooked them it's something I would love to make for the holidays and even on a day day bases.

I gave up on the picture of other food we had ordered. To be honest, the food is pretty average, almost a bit old. Not very fresh. The shrimp sushi was so dry it’s not funny. Rice is not done very well either. I’m so surprised, it felt high end, but my drinks comes in a bottle. I had tried their sister place, was lot better. They got some food dishes which are passable but the $$ do add up. When you get the torch sushi, it’s already cold, not sure if it been sitting around or what. I’ll just put it down, I had better. It not full service place, but service was good enough.

First time here for lunch. Quick friendly service. Interesting experience. Order from a touch screen, and then food appears on conveyor belt. The presentation and quality was excellent. I tried many of the different offerings. Overall a wonderful place to eat.

I wanted to give 4.4 but rounded up further. Price to quality ratio is high.. VERY high. Of about 20 plates only one was not enjoyed. Everything was top quality delcious except for a salmon nigiri which was clearly a very bad cut of fish. It was very rough and sinewy, which should never have made it out of quality control. The reason im surprised is because all the other plates were perfection. But one was really very very bad which detracted from the others

You must try Tora, it's sushi, it's Japanese. Located in Yorkdale on the 2nd floor. I was blown away by the design, it's stunning, rec'd a warm welcome by the staff, everyone is polite, you order on a tablet and you food is delivered on a belt. I have never seen anything like it before. Everything is delicious, portions are just right and price is reasonable. I will be back.

Food is very fresh. The belt was just a nice touch. Take away the belt and it would still be very worth it.Definitely above what you're paying for. I can see why this is the sister restaurant of Miku. At first it might be considered pricey but if you think about how you normally order sushi a la carte and then think how your only paying an extra 50 cents for the quality. It's very very worth it. It's not a cheap eat but a very worth it place.

Loved the experience. Staff were friendly. One of them even seeked us out as we were sitting around the corner to ask if we were open to other seats we could go in right away. Food was delicious!

This place is fancy and nice! The uniqueness and cool design of this restaurant is unbelievable .The food is tasty and yummy. This Sushi restaurant is a place you must come.
